I had an all natural latex mattress and it basically started to disintegrate after 6 years.
I purchased the Nature’s Rest when it was individually owned not sold out to the big mattress firm, and it had a a very comfortable all cotton pillow top that was the best mattress I had.
I have never been able to find the equivalent to this mattress. I do not want memory foam, and am not a fan of latex.
What mattress works on a platform bed with arched slats, king size, and has a pillow top that is not made of either latex nor memory foam.
I have an Englander now and it is way too firm, and I hate it.
Your experience with latex tells me that it came from China, where they use clay as a filler. Using clay, it can still be classified as all-natural, but doesn’t have the longevity of latex made without fillers. Our latex, typically, lasts for decades.
We don’t sell nor recommend pillowtop mattresses. The pillowtop part begins to wear and becomes uncomfortable quickly.
We do, however, have a two sided flippable mattress in plush that is comfortable and is very long lasting.
This particular model, The Cameo in plush – made by Therapedic, has no memory foam and no latex.
Here is a link to that mattress.
