My husband and I are debating which mattress we should buy to replace our current one, which after 6 years has developed lumps and sags a little in the middle.
I've been looking at the Simmons Beautyrest Broadway, as it seems to have a thicker coil and will last us longer.
However I'm currently on the heavier side (220 lbs) and pregnant, and am afraid that this mattress may be a bit too firm.
We're used to a softer mattress but our current "soft" mattress is not well constructed.
We're on a budget, so looking to not spend more than $900 for a queen size set. Would you recommend the Broadway, despite my concerns?
It doesn't matter, how well constructed a mattress may be. A soft mattress at any price will do what yours did under average body weight. Under someone your size, consider yourself fortunate that you got 6 years out of what you have.
While a good bed for the price, the Simmons Beautyrest Classic Broadway is one we recommend for children's rooms and spare rooms.
Being on a budget, I'd hate to see you waste your money on something that will fail you within only a few years.
We do carry a reasonably priced mattress that has a nice strong coil unit and is upholstered with latex...for support, comfort and durability that can't be matched at this low price.
The catch, is the delivery. This mattress, the Wolf Adrian, arrives via FedEx, so you will need to have someone bring it in and unpack it for you.
That aside, it's one of the best buys on the market. One, from which, you will get many years of comfortable sleep.
Here is the link to that mattress. You can order on-line. Delivery is free and there's no sales tax.
