Hi Pete,
We bought our son a twin mattress from you about 3 or 4 years ago and it's been great.
We have two boys who are 5 and 6 1/2 and we just ordered them full size beds that can be bunked (which we don't plan on doing right away).
We got them Camaflexi beds with a good weight limit, so they claim. They also claim that the max mattress depth is 8.5 inches (min is 7).
Is this true? Hmm. What to do? Suggestions, please.
Thank you! Tracy
Hi Tracy,
The height restriction would be for the top bunk only...and only if used as a bunk bed.
The reason for that, is so the height of the mattress doesn't exceed the height of the guard rail.
The height of the mattress for the bottom bunk would not need to be restricted.
If used side by side, and not as a bunk bed, then you have no restrictions.
I now have some very well made and reasonably priced mattresses from Wolf.
Wolf is a very old company, established in 1872, and family owned and operated by the same family all this time.
Their unique method of packing and shipping is what helps keep the price down.
Their two-sided, flippable mattresses run 10" thick. The Brooklyn model will be the most comfortable of the three...shown here:

From The Wolf Company we have to offer two-sided, flippable mattressess…at a more reasonable price.

However, at only 11" thick, their Hybrid models are upholstered with all natural latex.
Either one of these would be my 1st choice....shown here:
