Hi Pete,

I need HELP!!!!

I’m 125 lbs and a side sleeper. I’ve tried a puffy, Nolah and currently a Brooklyn Bedding Aurora.

The first 30 days I’m fine but after that waking up with back pain.

I love a soft mattress (but I sleep hot although I haven’t with those I mentioned) and none of these have been just that.

I went to a local store and the only one that was somewhat soft enough for me was the Beautyrest Black Hybrid Clermont Pillowtop.

I got him almost half off the original price but now I’m researching before I purchase and am so lost! There’s just too many mattresses.

Is there anything comparable that I should look at? My friend has an Airloom and loves it.

I also found Saatva, Dreamcloud and Amerisleep online when researching.

If you could help point me in a direction I would be forever grateful!!!

We have a split king and my husband has a puffy, so it’s just a mattress for me.

Thanks, Shannon

Hi Shannon,

Your back pain is indicative of there being some sort of damage.
My guess is damaged or worn discs. You really should have that checked out.
The best type of support for that, is an individually pocketed coil, which contours to the shape of your body and maintains the natural alignment of your spine.
The thing to avoid, is memory foam.
Here is a link to old fashioned two sided mattresses.
Wolf Tulah Two-sided Mattress
The Brolynn Plush model is comfortable.
It has an individually pocketed coil unit and is upholstered with polyurethane.
It contains no memory foam.

Delivery is free and there’s no sales tax.
Thanks, Pete
