Let me tell you why.
If you were to research reviews about Simmons Beautyrest mattresses, you’ll find that they are horrible.
The reason why they are so bad is due to the way they are bought and sold.
1) Women do most of the decision making when it comes to buying a mattress.
Women tend to gravitate to the softer models. Normally, they do so based solely on personal comfort with the assumption that the quality will be there.
It isn’t.
2) Salespeople follow the path of least resistance.
All they care about is making the sale. And, the softer mattresses sell more easily.
They don’t care about the complaints to come. It isn’t their department.
The Plush Beautyrest mattresses are made so by using a much thinner gauge wire to make the coils.
This creates a depth of softness that simply does not hold up under average body weight.
Adding insult to injury, is the memory foam upholstery.
Contrary to the advertising hype and sales pitches, memory foam is the absolute worst upholstery material ever invented.
It’s sole purpose is to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing.
The pillowtops are filled with memory foam and are the first thing to wear out.
A pillowtop will show body impressions almost immediately…and are totally shot within a year’s time.
If you would like a recommendation for a nice comfortable, well supportive and long lasting mattress, here it is.
