Hi Jessica,
1) Yes. Except for the extra 1/2″ more memory foam in the Chestnut Hill model, they are identical.
2) The individually pocketed coils are an important feature….excellent for firm contouring support in the luxury firm.
The memory foam that Simmons uses, isn’t as bad as regular memory foam.
It is a bit less temperature sensitive, a bit more resilient, and there’s no chemical off gassing.
