I know you think this will be easy, considering that you already know what you want.
However, Simmons no longer makes what you have…or want.
Since the last time you bought a mattress, the name brands have been sold to investors, who have down grading their products in order to sell more mattresses, more frequently to the same consumers. It’s called, “Planned Obsolescence”.
Memory foam is what is used to achieve that. Your mattress has no memory foam in it, which is why it has lasted so long.
A firm Simmons Beautyrest will last an average weight couple, about 4-5 years. A plush Beautyrest lasts, maybe, a year or two.
We do have ways around their efforts to turn you into a frequent buyer…and high quality alternatives to the name brands, as well.
Before offering a recommendation, it would be helpful to know your sizes…heights and weights.
