Hi Pete,
We have spent A LOT of money over the last 10 years on various mattresses. We are returning our current bed.
It seems that most reviews are bad, which makes it confusing when attempting to select an appropriate mattress.
We are two middle-aged women that are short, and overweight (210 – 240 lbs each).
I move around most of the night and do not want lumps.
We want to avoid chemical fire retardants and VOCs.
We have tried two coil-less mattresses and they do not seem to workout.
We now want to try a hybrid with strong coils.
Do you have any advice?
Thank you, Rose
Hi Rose.
The problem all along has been the memory foam in these mattresses.
It’s memory foam you need to avoid.
Most hybrids are upholstered with memory foam….a toxic, 61 chemical product.
My wife and I have a coiled mattress upholstered with natural Talalay Latex.
After 4.5+ years, with each of us over 200 lbs, our mattress is still in like new condition.
That mattress is, The Natura of Canada Greenspring Ultra Plush.
THIS, is the one you should to consider.
It’s very high quality, with no off-gassing, and no memory foam.
The fire retardant is natural wool…no chemicals.
Here is a link to that mattress:

White glove delivery is free and there’s no sales tax.
Delivery includes set-up and removal of your old mattress.
Thanks, Pete
