Twin-XL Adjustable Bed Base and Mattress for Herniated disc Back Pain.

Hey Pete.

I hope you are well. We bought a mattress and latex topper from you, which we have loved. 
I need another mattress and wanted to pick your brain and ask what you recommend. 
On 6/18 I reinjured my herniated discs on my left lower back l4/l5/s1 while I was lifting and twisting. 
I’m now doing PT to try and avoid surgery, but still can’t lift my left foot so it’s not looking good.
I’m 6’1-6’2, 225 lbs.
 
I’m having trouble sleeping, partly because the bed I sleep is crowded with my wife, my 2 small kids and my 2 dogs. 
We have a king size Simmons Beautyrest Ava luxury firm, you recommended, and we also bought the 2” latex topper.
We haven’t been good about rotating it so it’s developed some body impressions.
 
I’m thinking of getting a bed to put next to our king bed for myself.
This, so I can have room to sleep without my kid kicking me in my hip or back. 
My PTs said I’m not supposed to sleep on my left side.
 
I think want an adjustable base so that I can work in bed with my laptop or watch tv after dinner.
I’ll be laying it down flat to sleep…as you have recommended.

Almost all of today’s mattresses will work on an adjustable bed base.
The ones we are carrying are well made, by Magniflex…Italian design, German engineering.

I’m offering the Twin-XL at $999.00
These bed bases ship ups and some minor assembly is involved.
Your weight is not excessive, given your height.
So, I have two suggestions for you.
The best of them is The Natura of Canada Greenspring Ultra Plush.

Not quite as strong, nor quite as comfortable, nor as elaborately made, nor nearly as expensive is:
The Wolf Pocketed Coil/Latex Hybrid Adara Mattress.

Even the Adara will wear well, be supportive for your back and reasonably comfortable…and last for many years.
The Natura mattress comes with white glove delivery, but there’s a very long wait.
The Wolf mattress ships via ups, and can be had much more quickly.

I can’t help but feel that the Wolf Adara is your better value, overall.

We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
Keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry will extend the life of the mattress.
