Hi, Pete.
I found the following on TripAdvisor from someone who says she is the Asst. GM at the Seattle Renaissance Hotel.
From the specs and sample models below, could you please advise on what mattress Renaissance is using?
(From your site, it seems the Sealy is no longer made the same way.
It appears the Simmons model cited has been discontinued or replaced.)
Thanks, Bill
Hello, my name is Kay Washington the Assistant General Manager for the Renaissance Seattle Hotel.

Hi Bill,
If you’ll notice that among the specifications you sent me, you don’t see memory foam listed.
Hotels have long rejected the use of memory foam in their mattresses.
Memory foam is the worst upholstery material ever invented…specifically designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing.
Hotel quality mattresses, made by Simmons and Sealy, are not available at any retail stores. All of those brand mattresses, made for retail, are upholstered with memory foam.
While I cannot match those specifications, I can provide you mattresses that exceed them:
Natura of Canada Greenspring mattresses:
Shown here:

The Natura GreenSpring series combines the natural elements commonly found in Natura, such as wool and latex, but it has a specially designed pocketed coil system to provide your body with extra support.

Due to the high quality and resiliency of the components, all of their models are firmer than they sound.
The Ultra Plush is the most comfortable…and the one my wife and I have at home.
These mattresses come with white glove delivery.
Delivery includes set-up in your bedroom and removal of your old mattress/set.
Delivery is free and there’s no sales tax.
We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
Keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry will extend the life of the mattress.
Thanks, Pete
