Hi Pete,
I was searching for advice for people who wake up with shoulder and hip pain and found your site.
Our mattress is only two years old and has a pillowtop. My guess is it has gotten too soft.
I am 5’2 and 200 lbs. my hubby is 6’5 and about 350.
Looking at your site, it seems we might want to flip to the bottom of the mattress and get a latex topper.
What would your recommendation be?
Thanks so much!
Jan
Hi Jan,
My recommendation would include a firm mattress and a medium soft latex topper.
If you think your mattress is salvageable if you flip it, then starting with the latex topper makes sense.
This pure, all Natural Dunlop Latex Topper in medium soft is the one to get.
I recommend the 3” for maximum comfort.

These toppers are made with 2″ or 3″ of Pure Dunlop Latex. They feature a certified organic cotton double knit zippered cover that adds to the pressure reliving properties of latex. These latex toppers are available in your choice of comfort: Soft, Medium Soft, Medium Firm or Firm

We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
Keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry will extend the life of the mattress.
Thanks, Pete
