Hello Pete,
I was wondering about the Natura of Canada Greenspring Liberta Luxury Firm Mattress in king size.
I currently have a Simmons Beautyrest World Class pillowtop, approx. 11 years old, or so.
My wife complains that it’s not supporting her anymore.
We are looking to replace it and saw where you recommended the Liberta to replace the world class.
The Greenspring Liberta Luxury Firm Mattress says it has 2” of Natura Latex topper inside the mattress
Will this be hard to the touch or will the 2” thick topper make it feel a little softer with firm support?
If we go with this luxury firm mattress and it ends up being too hard, can we add a separate external topper to the bed later to soften it up and not sacrifice support?
Thanks for your time, Michael
Hi Michael,
All of the Greenspring mattresses provide the same firm support.
My wife and I sleep on the ultra plush model…and still had to add a separate latex topper to soften it.
So, to answer your question, yes…you can always add a latex topper to soften any of their mattresses.
Due to the high quality of the components… the high coil count, the strength of the double tempered steel, and the resistance of the latex upholstery, they are all firmer than they sound.
Our most popular model is the ultra plush.
Some find it perfectly fine the way it is. Some need to add a topper.
No one finds it to be too soft.
Given the curves of a female body, the luxury firm model is sure to be too firm.

These mattresses come with white glove delivery, which includes set up in your bedroom and removal of packaging materials.
Delivery is free and there’s no sales tax.
Thanks, Pete

Hi Pete,
Thanks for getting back to me on this so quickly and for the clarification on the firmness of these mattresses.
As for the separate latex topper…..please let me know exactly which one you have or recommend?
I see a LATEXBLISS 2” NATURAL……it comes in firm or plush……not sure how hard or soft these are and which would be better suited for the Ultra Plush model mattress?
I am definitely leaning towards the ultra plush model mattress.
Are you and your wife really happy with it?
Thanks again for your time on this.
Michael
Hi Michael,
If you’re considering the ultra plush Greenspring mattress, I suggest waiting until you’ve slept on it for a few nights before deciding if a topper is even necessary.
Once you have it, and have decided that you need a latex topper, then is the time to decide which topper you need.
We added the Suite Sleep 3” Vita Talalay Latex Topper to ours, to further cushion my wife’s sensitive hip.
I’m comfortable on that mattress, with and without the topper.
My wife and I weigh in excess of 200 lbs., each.
We’ve had ours for more than 5.5 years and it is still in like new condition.
I have lots of disc related back problems. This mattress allows me to sleep and wake without back pain.
So, yes, we are very happy with this mattress.
Thanks, Pete
