Hi Pete,
After a long run with our current queen size mattress, my wife and I are looking to upgrade to a king.
We bought our queen at Macy’s, a long time ago.
It’s a Sealy Posturepedic Preferred Hyland Way Plush Euro Pillowtop.
From what I can tell, the Preferred and Hyland Way lines aren’t part of their verbiage anymore.
It’s about 11 or 12 inches in size I think and is pretty soft but not the softest available at the time.
What would be the king size equivalent in the Sealy Posturepedic line today?
Thanks for your time and insight and direction you can offer.
Greg
Hi Greg,
We had been a Sealy retailer back when your mattress was made.
We stopped selling Sealy in 2013, when they were purchased by Tempurpedic.
Since then, all Sealy Posturepedic mattresses have been upholstered with memory foam, which is the worst upholstery material ever invented.
Your current mattress has no memory foam in it, which is why it lasted for so long.
In short, there is nothing made that is equivalent to what you have.
Nothing Sealy makes is worth buying, today.
Here is a link to the mattresses we found at the industry trade shows to replace Sealy.

The Wolf Tulah Plush Eurotop Mattress will suit you well.
Shipping is free and there’s no sales tax….AND, NO Memory Foam.
Thanks, Pete
VERY IMPORTANT:
Keeping your mattress clean and dry will increase its longevity.
We recommend our Organic Cotton Waterproof Mattress Protector.
