And one that does not cost an arm and a leg! I am hoping to spend about $1000.00.
Is there a mattress out there similar to my old flippable Sealy Posturepedic?
It was the best mattress I ever had.

Hi Tina,
I don’t recommend an air mattress to anyone.
It provides zero upward support and will aggravate any back problems you may have.
Sleep on one long enough, and a back problem will develop where none existed.
Serta’s two-sided model is a low quality mattress, cheaply made and upholstered with memory foam.
It’s the memory foam in your Simmons Beautyrest that has failed.
To make a successful mattress purchase, you must avoid any mattress upholstered with memory foam.
The best is an all latex mattress, as you know. But I’m afraid they are not within your price range.
I spend a lot of time and energy in finding high quality products to offer, and at various price points.
There is a mattress that is similarly made to your old Sealy flippable mattress.
