Before I go through with a purchase, I was hoping to receive some thoughts from a mattress expert, especially when taking into account cost vs. quality.
I did “test” the mattress in the store and it felt very good, but with a high price tag.
I’m just not sure if I’m getting the best bang for my buck.

Stay away from the name brands. They all use memory foam upholstery.
Gel foam is also memory foam.
Memory foam wears quickly, sleeps hot and off gasses the toxic chemicals from which memory foam is made.
Memory foam is the worst upholstery material ever invented.
Even though we specialize in mattresses with no memory foam, I can’t ship what we carry to Mexico.
Fortunately for you, there are Mexican mattress manufacturers that don’t use memory foam.
Forget about the brand names that can no longer be trusted to make a quality mattress.
Instead, shop the specifications.
What to look for is: individually pocketed coils, which contour to the shape of the body, and NO memory foam upholstery.
Polyurethane foam is good. Latex foam (not made in China) is best.
