The Heavenly Bed was featured at the Westin Hotels.
They were Simmons Beautyrest mattresses.
If you stay at a Westin Hotel these days, you could easily find yourself in a room that has this mattress…an older model…before Simmons was purchased by investors.
The thing that has always made a Simmons Beautyrest so comfortable, is the individually pocketed coils, which contour to the shape of the body and maintain the natural alignment of the spine.
This is still true today. However, today’s Beautyrest mattresses are upholstered with memory foam, which was not in the older models.
Memory foam is specifically designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing.
It wears quickly, sleeps hot and off gasses the toxic chemicals from which memory foam is made.
It is thee thing to avoid when buying a mattress.
The mattress I’m recommending also has an individually pocketed coil unit.
The coils are heavier and stronger than those used by Simmons, for even greater durability and longevity.
The upholstery material is natural, plant based polyurethane foam.
Simmons used chemical based polyurethane.
There is no memory foam in this or any mattress we offer for sale.
