Hi Pete,
We are looking to go from a Queen size to King size mattress.
We’ve had a Queen sized Sealy Mira Loma 2 that we’ve had for 20 years.
It’s a great mattress and we are keeping it in the guest room.
We figured Sealy were comfortable so we picked up a Sealy Posturepedic Mt. Auburn mattress.
We then learned it is nothing like our previous mattress.
A Google research brought me to your site.
Any recommendations for a firm, but springy King sized mattress similar to the Mira Loma 2?
We’re looking for something lower profile, under 13 inches if possible.
Thanks, Curtis
Hi Curtis,
Our old fashioned two sided Brolynn mattress in plush strikes me as something you’d enjoy.
The pocketed coils contour to the shape of the body, maintaining the natural alignment of the spine.
The coil unit is quite firm, using heavy gauge double tempered steel.
The upholstery is natural plant based polyurethane foam.
It’s 12″ thick and there’s a low profile foundation available with it.
It’s not a soft mattress, but comfortable and long lasting.
