Simmons has since been sold and no longer makes a mattress of the same quality as the one your parents bought in 2008. The same investment group that Simmons, also bought Serta.

They’ve done such a poor job, that they have filed for Bankruptcy Protection under Chapter 11.

In fact, all of the name brands, that you could once trust from quality, have been sold to investors.

All are now upholstered with memory foam, which was not used in parents mattress.

A successful purchase can only be had with a mattress with no memory foam.

Memory foam, contrary to all the advertising hype and sales pitches, is the worst upholstery material ever invented. Memory foam is specifically designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing.

It sleeps hot, wears quickly, and enhances back pain, rather than relieving it.

And as if all that weren’t bad enough, memory foam off gasses the toxic chemicals from which it’s made.

Two of the worst of the 61 different chemicals used are formaldehyde and benzene.

My recommendation is for the Wolf Jessica Mattress, which has a Luxury Firm feel.

The individually pocketed coil system is very much like that used in the Simmons Beautyrest mattresses.

This is as close as you’ll get to your parents 2008 Beautyrest mattress.
